🌟 September Updates from 80/20 Design!
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about my journey as a Notion creator and product designer! Over the past few months, I’ve had some amazing opportunities that I’m incredibly proud of, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate these milestones with you:
1️⃣ Officially a Notion Recommended Creator!
I’m honored to have been featured as a Notion Recommended Creator on the front page of their templates page, alongside just three other creators. 🙌 This recognition means the world to me, as it highlights Notion’s appreciation for my craft and the templates I’ve built for startups and entrepreneurs. Since the feature, I’ve seen an over 400% boost in traffic to my site and downloads. Thank you to everyone who has supported me! 🙏
2️⃣ Reaching a Global Audience!
I’m proud to share that users from 122 countries have downloaded my Notion templates, with over 1,000 downloads and 740 customers. What makes this even more rewarding is that I achieved this without any paid advertising. As someone responsible for everything - product development, design, and marketing—it can be incredibly challenging to get traction, especially with no ad budget.
Before being featured on Notion’s front page as a Recommended Creator, I struggled to gain visibility and interest. Like many solo product creators, I experienced firsthand how challenging marketing can be when doing it alone. Getting featured provided a significant boost, and I’m genuinely happy with how things have grown since then.
That said, my expectations were initially modest, and I’m excited to see how this venture evolves over the next few months. I’ll keep you updated as things progress!
3️⃣ Notion Certified Expert!
On top of this, I’ve also completed three official Notion exams, earning badges in Notion Essentials, Settings & Sharing, and Advanced Skills. These certifications further solidify my expertise in creating powerful, user-friendly Notion templates that help startups succeed. 💪
4️⃣ Website Enhancements and Feedback-Driven Updates
I’ve been busy upgrading my website and materials based on valuable feedback from customers and friends. A huge thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts - it’s helped me refine my products and improve the experience. I’ve also launched a survey to get to know my customers better, and I can’t wait to share the insights once I gather enough responses! Stay tuned. 😊
