I design
products
and build them.
Twelve years across fintech, SaaS, and enterprise - from Warsaw startups to a unicorn in Denver. I take the whole arc: framing the problem, designing the answer, and owning it through to something shipped.
Over a decade of crafting digital products.
The startup beginning
My adventure started in the trenches of a budding B2C startup. As a rookie UX Designer / Product Manager, I was thrown into the deep end — and loved every minute. User interviews, usability tests, the full product development and optimization lifecycle. A crash course in applying theory to real-world problems.
From small startups to big corporations
Transitioning to a software house, I collaborated with various clients — from nimble startups to large corporations. Chaos was a common theme, but so was the need for more clarity on building successful products. I started focusing on educating teams and creating a product-centric culture, moving away from project-based thinking.
Cultivating community: the UX Book Club
One of the highlights of this period was leading the UX Book Club across major Polish cities. Organizing events, meeting people passionate about product building. I’m proud to have played a part in fostering product awareness and development during these early days.
Beyond design: a holistic approach
Returning to the B2C realm, I expanded my UX Designer role to encompass a broader spectrum of product development. Intensive user research, strategic planning, and integrating Lean UX into daily workflows. I continued the UX Book Club and pursued postgraduate studies in Service Design.
Leadership and innovation in the startup world
At a larger B2B analytics startup, I stepped up as Product Team Leader, guiding product and development teams. This deepened my leadership and team management experience — fostering a design-oriented culture, refining product processes, and participating in strategic company decisions.
Corporate challenge
Curiosity led me to a large banking corporation to explore product design in a corporate setting. Brief but insightful — adapting startup agility to a corporate context, and seeing where it doesn’t translate.
Silicon Valley spirit: Housecall Pro
My journey brought me to Housecall Pro, a $1.1B unicorn. Deeply immersed in Silicon Valley culture — human-centric, rapid problem-solving, valuing diverse stakeholder opinions. Crafting unique solutions tailored to our varied client base.
Forging my own path — and back to fintech
Founding 80/20 Design was the most personal step: an independent practice, and a space to refine how I work — including a hands-on, responsible take on AI in product design. Today I bring that approach to a senior product designer role at Netguru, designing investor-portal and compliance experiences in fintech, while keeping the practice running alongside it.
What people I’ve worked with say.
Wojtek is the best person I hired, ever. He is obsessed with applying structure to chaos — be it via process design or careful and deliberate communication. His calm demeanor is a great asset, but it actually hides a very competitive nature and a need for speed in execution. He is an expert in User Experience and Product Design, with a very analytical approach to both generating and evaluating user insights.
Wojtek consistently demonstrated an exceptional level of effort and energy in the product designer role at Housecall Pro. The dedication to achieving excellence was evident in Wojtek’s work, and I am grateful for the valuable contributions Wojtek made to our team. Working with Wojtek has been a pleasure, always exemplifying professionalism and unwavering commitment.
I worked with Wojtek during my first year at Housecall Pro and he is one of the most organized and thorough designers I have worked with. He set a standard for the rest of the design team in terms of user journeys and async work. He goes into the depths of a problem and fully analyzes it before tackling flows that best suit the user’s solution.
You can take one look at Wojtek’s design files and realize that, as a designer, you’re falling short in some way. His files are incredibly clean, organized, and easy to understand. When Wojtek joined the team, his attention to detail blew me away and I instantly knew that I needed to step up my game.
I’ve worked with Wojtek for several months and I can confidently recommend his work. Wojtek’s a great team player, always ready to help us by consulting on design or product features. He took very big ownership of his work and demonstrated amazing organizational skills and an impressive level of emotional intelligence.
I highly recommend Wojtek as a Product Designer. He has a deep understanding of user needs and knows how to design products that meet and exceed their expectations. His ability to translate complex ideas into simple, elegant designs is truly remarkable. Excellent team player and collaborator.
Wojtek is the most well-organized designer I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His design documentation is incredibly thorough and meticulous, and served as an example for all product designers on the team. On many occasions, his analytical approach helped me look at the problem from an entirely different perspective.
I worked with Wojtek on a fintech product for over a year. He had a great understanding of his domain and, despite many challenges, handled them well. Wojtek has an analytical approach and it shows — his work is thorough and detailed. Excellent at communication and planning. Funny, easy-going, and always open to discussion.
I had an opportunity to work closely with Wojtek as a Product Analyst, providing data for his product design and verifying impact of features he had designed. Wojtek is a very thorough and well-organised person. He believes in data-driven decision making and applies it very consistently in his work. His competences go far beyond designing — Wojtek has proven to be a very inquisitive researcher.
I had a pleasure to work with Wojtek for over a year. He is an experienced designer with product management knowledge and a holistic approach to developing end-to-end products. Wojtek has strong attention to detail and user-centred design, as well as the design process itself. He’s also a great mentor and funny, easy-going person. Thanks to him I’ve grown as a UX Designer.
Thanks to Wojtek’s ability to communicate and willingness to share knowledge I understood the specifics of the product from the designer’s side. He presented the results of his work in an incredibly clear way and made data-driven decisions in the design process. As a colleague, always open to discuss the problem and help.
The cooperation between us was very good. We worked together on the development of Sotrender on the designer-programmer line. Together with our teams, we implemented some interesting features. He will always give interesting advice on both product and technical matters.
The roles behind the story.
My independent practice — and a working lab for how AI fits product design. Alongside senior IC roles, it’s where I test new tools across research, synthesis, and delivery, and build my own, to find what genuinely helps. The throughline is a responsible, deliberate approach: AI to sharpen judgment and move faster, never to replace the thinking.

How I think about product work.
Studied design, service & systems.
Continued study.
What fuels the work.
Bikes, bikes, bikes
Cycling is how I decompress — and how I test myself. I ride long: gravel ultra-marathons across Poland and Europe, the kind of distances where it’s just you, the route, and your own limits. I like the competitive edge of it — pushing my pace, knowing exactly where my limits are — but just as much, I like the freedom. Hours on the bike where the noise clears and the thinking gets honest.
Travel, books and nature
I read a lot — philosophy, science, and design mostly, though I’ve been drifting more into fiction lately and finding it just as useful. Travel matters too, mostly for the perspective shift: unfamiliar places, no agenda if possible, mountains when there’s a choice. The two tend to go together — you come back from somewhere with different questions than the ones you left with, and usually a longer reading list.
